Mature women can untangle some of the fears and misunderstanding evident in the google searches about feminism. It's simple. When people ask about feminism and about feminist thought, mature women need to provide truthful answers.

Human nature is feminist

What do I mean by that? I believe that people are born knowing that all other people are as deserving of life, respect, and self governance as they are.

Male people do not deserve more from life than female people. Male people do not deserve more respect than female people. Male people do not naturally govern "better" than female people.

Feminist Perspective on Human Nature

Is there a feminist perspective on human nature other than women are people, men are too? Maybe I'm reading the phrase "human nature" all wrong.

Here's a useful definition from wikipedia: Human nature is the set of psychological characteristics, including ways of thinking and acting, that all normal human beings have in common.[1] The branches of science associated with the study of human nature include sociology, sociobiology and psychology, particularly evolutionary psychology and developmental psychology. Philosophers and theologians have also carried out research on human nature.
