Got back about an hour ago from the public gathering, panel discussion, artists' talk, and presentation of Creativity Rising at 21C.

Totally enjoyed listening to all the artists talk about their pieces. Russel Hulsey and Thea Lura especially struck a cord with my current thinking. Every one of the pieces put an idea in my head and I'm so looking forward to taking family and friends around to see them all.

The gathering motivated me to get over the disappearing issue at the Shrine. In fact it's fueled my desire to "finish" the Shrine by adding the much-thought-about geocache trinkets. I've decided to make something instead of getting something from Archie McPhee's or some such. That'll be more in keeping with the theme/spirit of the piece.
