Take a Gluten Free Health Quiz
Take this 10-minute health quiz
devised by celebrity chef and doctor, John La Puma. You're here at
Gluten Free Healthy Woman so you must feel like gluten is an issue for
you. But should you expend the energy, time, and money getting tested?
The
quiz will help you decide if you should be tested for celiac disease.
It'll also provide you with a list of talking points to go over with
your doctor if you decide to pursue testing.
Just So You Know ...
| The gluten free quiz
website immediately hits you up for your email address and statistical
information not strictly necessary to determine rather or not gluten
could be an issue for you. And they want you to join their e-newsletter
to receive health news. Plus, at the end, before reporting your score
they encourage (but don't require) you to provide the email of a friend
(or two) to share the health quiz and your results with. Oh well,
everything costs something. |
| The quiz does provide
valuable information and it offers a couple of extra perks. Each
question includes a piece of potentially useful trivia. For example;
"Fatigue is the most common symptom of people with celiac disease." And
each question's page includes a quote with a silly attribution or
question - I guess because "laughter is the best medicine"? Here's my
favorite: Are Jane Fondue and Harry Bella-Fondue Swiss? The
multipurpose Chef MD, in addition to being an author must also be a
comedian. |

Extra Credit Health Quiz
There are all sorts of fun and/or useful quizzes on the web. I learned
about the Should You Be Gluten Free Quiz from my daily Jillian Michaels
e-newsletter.
While you're in quiz mode test yourself on your knowledge of celiac disesase symptoms.
It's a simple 5 question, true or false, health quiz that provides a
wealth of myth-busting knowledge. And the Eating Well site doesn't
require any information from you.
Gwen's Quiz Results
I have a
medium high risk for celiac disease based on my answers to ChefMD's
Should You Be Gluten Free Quiz. I've been putting off getting
officially tested for many reasons but I've now added it to my
things-to-do-in-the-next-3-month's list. FYI: You can't be gluten free
when you get tested or the results will be skewed.
I missed one of the 5 questions on the "How much do you know about celiac disease symptoms" quiz but I learned from my mistake.
