I absolutely love and enjoy Rob Brezsny's Free Will Astrology. My first exposure to his writing was when I friend had me read A Prayer For You. (it's missing from his website! but I have a hardcopy and if I have to I'll type it all in.)

One thing I've been promising myself to do is pay more attention to the weekly scorpio horoscope I receive by email. I often print them out and every now and again I'll find an undated one, read it, and get inspired to action and/or deep thought.

(As he often does, Rob starts off sanely enough and then quickly moves deep into something to make me laugh. ) He continues ...  Mythically speaking, the coming weeks will also be a good time to have intimate relations with a fertility good or goddess, and to plant magic beans that will grow into a beanstalk that reaches the ski. "Is that it?" you may be asking. "Nothing but good news?!" My only caveat, which is pretty minor, is that you might add a few pounds to your frame. If you're a hetero woman, that could be caused by a pregnancy unless you're careful.

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21): In a favorable review of Badger Mountain Riesling wine, Winelibrary.com said, "The sweet succulent aromas of bosc pears are woven with lilacs and just a hint of petrol." Meanwhile, *Allure*magazine named Secretions Magnifique as one of the top five sexiest perfumes in the world, even though its fragrance is like "floral bilge."

Petrol? Bilge? Both commentaries seem to suggest that greatness may contain a taint -- or even that the very nature of greatness may require it to have a trace of something offensive. I'm guessing that'll be a theme for you in the coming week.
