Yes, I'm starting a dictionary of 13-letter words. Its primary purpose is to help questers who have received guidance from the 13-letter Word Oracle.

It can also be useful to others for various reasons; crossword puzzles, vocabulary increasing, trivia.

cicatrisation = scar formation at the site of a healing wound

exothermicity = characterized by or formed with evolution of heat

keraunophobia = fear of lightening

I have numerous dictionaries around the house in various places. Usually,if I'm online I use an online dictionary. Specifically, Merriam-Webster Online @ http://www.merriam-webster.com - so unless noted otherwise that's the source of the definitions you'll find at MultiPurpose-Woman.

Which dictionary is used on Merriam-Webster Online?
According to their FAQ;
"The Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary is based on the print version of Merriam-Webster's Collegiate® Dictionary, Eleventh Edition.

The online dictionary includes the main A-Z listing of the Collegiate Dictionary, as well as the Abbreviations, Foreign Words and Phrases, Biographical Names, and Geographical Names sections of that book. It also includes 1,000 illustrations and 25 tables. Selected sections of the print Collegiate Dictionary, notably the Signs and Symbols section, are omitted from the online Collegiate Dictionary because they include special characters and symbols that cannot readily be reproduced in HTML."
